Appointments:
All patients are seen by appointment; we are unable to accommodate walk-ins.
When you come to your appointment please bring your insurance card (this will be needed for each visit), a picture ID, primary care physician’s (PCP) name, your co-payment and referral (if necessary) as well as a list of current medications and allergies.
If you need to cancel an appointment, please give us 24 hours notice.
Prescriptions
When we write prescriptions we most often give refills. When your prescription runs out please call during regular business hours to request refills. Topical prescriptions can usually be refilled for up to 2 years. Oral medications usually can be refilled for a year, but may require an office visit prior to being refilled. Please note that prescription refills are not available after business hours or on weekends. Insurance prior authorizations may be completed for some prescription medicines.
Prescriptions can be called into the pharmacy of your choice (please, provide us with the phone number) with the exception of mail order pharmacies. Due to the lengthy phone time associated with these pharmacies, we can either forward you the prescription to mail in or, if you provide us a form, we can fax it in for you.
Emergency Care
Our office provides 24 hour emergency services for our established patients coordinated through our answering service. The answering service can be reached at 978-722-1808.
All routine requests, regardless of where you were seen will be handled during regular office hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM in our Andover Office (978-475-4322).
Our physicians are always available to consult with your physician if necessary.
Urgent Care
If you are an established patient with our practice and you feel you have an immediate concern, you may call during regular business hours and ask to speak with a nurse. For a non-urgent issue, please ask to be placed on the cancellation list if you would like a sooner appointment. We actively use our cancellation list for any daily openings. This is an opportunity to take advantage of a sooner appointment if you have some flexibility.
